Admission Standards

The following are the requirements for admission into the Nursing Assistant Training Program:

• Students must be able to read, write, understand and speak the English language.
• Students must hold a high school diploma, GED, or pass ability to benifit test.
• Students must be physically able to perform the duties of the Nursing Assistant. These duties include and are not limited to: lifting, moving, and transporting of patients.
• Students must pass a backround check prior to the class start date and are required to have a negative 1-Step TB skin test within the last 12 months or provide a negative chest X-ray.
